Clare Crombie

clare_crombie-photoClare Crombie is an experienced UKCP Registered psychotherapist, supervisor and workshop leader, (currently – September 2016 -on sabbatical from her psychotherapy practice, though still offering constellation workshops in Edinburgh)

She trained at the Gestalt Centre London, UK between 1989 and 1994, and first started to incorporate the Family Constellations approach into her practice after seeing Bert Hellinger work in London in 1996. Clare has gone deeply into the experiential and theoretical study of the constellation work. This continues to be an evolving process, which has been personally, and professionally transforming.

Clare was president of ISCA for four years. Since the International Constellations Intensive was started in Germany in 2001 she has attended each year and valued learning with Hunter Beaumont, Guni Baxa, Albrecht Mahr, Judith Hemming, Stephan Hausner, Christine Essen, Jan Jacob Stam and many of the senior constellators in Germany, USA and the UK. She has also gained a lot personally and professionally from working with Franz Ruppert.

Clare is a qualified massage practitioner and involved in bodywork and movement. She has qualified in EMDR and is currently studying advances in Relational Psychotherapy, Attachment Theory, Mindfulness, and also enjoying learning more about the brain with Sarah Peyton.

Clare is a founder member of the Cancer Counselling Trust London, and has many years experience of counselling in the field of cancer.

She worked for 3 years offering emotional and therapeutic support to children in a primary school in Edinburgh, for ThePlace2Be.
